Wedding Invitations

I am getting married in June of 2011 so naturally I needed to get wedding invitations. When my fiance and I were looking through different wedding invitations to purchase we came to the conclusion that none of them would do and I would need to make them myself. I came up with some ideas that we both liked and then I went to work. I came up with a pastel varient of our blue and purple wedding colors and started creating it.

My fiance already had the wording done, I just needed to add it into the document and make it fit. To make the text fit the dimensions that I wanted I had to play with the font sizes of the different lines. I also made sure to highlight a few important things by making them larger than the rest of the text. Once I was done I exported them to PDF’s and had them printed.

I did all of the work in Adobe Photoshop CS5 and the fonts used are URW Egyptienne Light and URW Egyptienne Extra Light. Below are some screenshots of the final images.
